Bass Günther Groissböck appears as Philipp II in Verdi’s Don Carlo at the Vienna State Opera. He is joined by Vittorio Grigolo as Don Carlo, Étienne Dupuis as Rodrigo, Elena Stikhina as Elisabetta, and Eve-Maud Hubeaux as Eboli. The production is directed by Kirill Serebrennikov and conducted by Pier Giorgio Morandi. Performances take place on September 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16, 2026, at the Vienna State Opera.
