Saioa Hernández: Welcome to CSAM!

Centre Stage Artist Management is thrilled to announce that acclaimed soprano Saioa Hernández has joined the roster for general management.

Soprano Saioa Hernandez career spans over a decade of experience and her “Impressive voice and imperial presence” (La Croix, France) make her one of the most sought-after artists our time. Hernandez is a regular guest in the world’s leading opera houses such as Teatro Real Madrid, Vienna State Opera, Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Berlin Deutsche Oper, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Sidney Opera House, Opera de Paris, Bavarian State Opera among others. With “almost immaculate security, and limitless power and authority” (The Sidney Herald, Australia) the soprano has recently been awarded Spain’s most prestigious price the Gold Medal in Fine Arts and has received the Oscar de la Lirica for the best soprano of the year 2021. She was voted Best Female Voice of the year 2016 for the Spanish Association of the Opera and won the Manuel Ausensi, the Jaume Aragall and the Vincenzo Bellini award.

The 2022/23 season marks numerous exciting engagements and debuts for Saioa Hernandez. She kicks off her season as Leonora (Il Trovatore) at Teatre del Liceu before singing Abigaille in Nabucco at Deutsche Oper Berlin and later this season at Opera of Geneve. At Teatro de la Zarzuela the soprano takes on the lead role of La Dolores and performs Tosca at Deutsche Oper Berlin. At Hamburg State Opera she performs her debut as Amelia in Simon Boccanegra and further takes on the lead in Norma. At Teatro Real in Madrid Hernandez sings her long-awaited role debut as La princesa Turandot (Turandot). The soprano finishes her season with her house debut at Sydney Opera House alongside Jonas Kaufmann and Ludovic Tézier as Gioconda (La Gioconda).
