Mezzo-soprano Emily D\u2019Angelo takes part in the world premiere of If I do not return<\/em>, a concert performance conceived by pianist and composer Hania Rani together with singers Emily D\u2019Angelo and \u00c1lfhei\u00f0ur Erla Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir at Theater Basel. The performance combines Hania Rani\u2019s contemporary musical language with texts from Renaissance songs by John Dowland. D\u2019Angelo appears as Future Hari, alongside \u00c1lfhei\u00f0ur Erla Gu\u00f0mundsd\u00f3ttir as Past Hari. The production also features the Neophyt Vocal Ensemble and the Kammerorchester Basel. The premiere takes place on October 11, 2026, at the Elisabethenkirche in Basel, followed by performances on October 13, 15, 17, and 19.<\/p>\n
