She achieved her international breakthrough in 2007 when she won second prize at Pl\u00e1cido Domingo&#8217;s Operalia competition. Since then, she has appeared at leading opera houses such as the Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden, La Scala, the Vienna State Opera, the Berlin State Opera, the Teatro Real Madrid, the Gran Teatre del Liceu Barcelona, and the Op\u00e9ra Bastille Paris, and has performed at renowned festivals in Salzburg, Baden-Baden, Aix-en-Provence, and Pesaro. In 2025, she was awarded the European Culture Prize for her outstanding artistic work.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025\/26 season begins with Olga Peretyatko performing as Giulia in Rossini\u2019s lively comedy\u00a0<strong><em>La scala di seta<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0at the Zurich Opera House. Later, she appears there as Mica\u00ebla in Bizet\u2019s\u00a0<strong><em>Carmen<\/em><\/strong>. She achieved great success as the Nightingale in Stravinsky\u2019s opera\u00a0<em>Le Rossignol<\/em>\u00a0(directed by Robert Lepage), as Marfa in Dmitri Tcherniakov\u2019s provocative production of\u00a0<strong><em>The Tsar\u2019s Bride<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0in Berlin and at La Scala, and as Le\u00efla in Wim Wenders\u2019 opera debut\u00a0<strong><em>Les P\u00eacheurs des Perles<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0under Daniel Barenboim.<\/p>\n<p>As a celebrated concert singer, Olga Peretyatko regularly performs with renowned orchestras and conductors in prestigious concert halls worldwide, giving international song recitals. She sang Rachmaninoff\u2019s\u00a0<strong><em>The Bells<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0with the Orchestre de Paris at the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez in Paris, and presented a program with the Danish Chamber Orchestra under \u00c1d\u00e1m Fischer during the Mozart Week in Salzburg. She performed Strauss\u2019\u00a0<strong><em>Four Last Songs<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and on a China tour with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montr\u00e9al. In 2018, she celebrated her acclaimed solo recital debut at La Scala in Milan.<\/p>\n<p>Olga Peretyatko has released six albums on Sony Classical and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the OPUS Klassik (2018), ECHO Klassik (Best Solo Album, 2015), and the Premio Franco Abbiati della Critica Musicale Italiana. In 2021, she released her new solo album\u00a0<strong><em>Songs for Maya<\/em><\/strong>, dedicated to the birth of her daughter. Produced by the legendary Russian label Melodiya, the album features 23 lullabies from around the world, personally selected and sung by Olga in their original languages.<\/p>\n<p>Born in St. Petersburg, Olga Peretyatko began her musical training in the children\u2019s choir of the Mariinsky Theatre.
