As part of the “Met Stars Live in Concert” series, baritone Michael Volle sings a concert on May 8, 2021 in the foyer of the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden together with the sopranos Christine Goerke and Elza van den Heever and the tenor Andreas Schager. They present a wonderful program under the motto “Wagnerians in Concert”.<\/p>\n

In addition to arias and duets from Wagner’s \u201cDer Fliegende Holl\u00e4nder\u201d, \u201cLohengrin\u201d, \u201cParsifal\u201d, \u201cDas Rheingold\u201d, \u201cTannh\u00e4user\u201d and \u201cDie Walk\u00fcre\u201d, as well as songs by Richard Strauss, there are Wagner’s Wesendonck songs and the final scene from Strauss \u201cThe woman without a shadow\u201d on the program.<\/p>\n
