Baritone Thomas Hampson steps into the role of Giorgio Germont in Verdi’s La traviata, set against the stunning backdrop of the Schlossberg stage in Graz. He shares the spotlight with soprano Nicole Chevalier as Violetta and tenor Xabier Anduaga as Alfredo. The summer production, part of the celebrated open-air opera tradition at the Kasematten, will be conducted by Marcus Merkel. Performances are scheduled for August 17 and 19, 2025.
