Gaëlle Arquez joins the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège and conductor Lionel Bringuier for the world premiere of Manfred Trojahn’s Je suis l’idée maîtresse for mezzo-soprano and orchestra. The programme also features Tchaikovsky’s deeply moving Symphony No. 6. The concerts take place at the Salle Philharmonique in Liège on 18 April and at the Kölner Philharmonie on 19 April.

Pianist Georgijs Osokins appears in concert with violinist Gidon Kremer and cellist Giedrė Dirvanauskaitė in Italy this April. The trio performs a programme including Beethoven’s Piano Trio No. 7 in B-flat major, Op. 97 “Archduke”, alongside works by Arvo Pärt and Dmitri Shostakovich. Mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey appears in Frauenliebe und -sterben at the Hamburg State Opera in Tobias Kratzer’s staging, conducted by Karina Canellakis with the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg. The evening combines Robert Schumann’s song cycle Frauenliebe und -leben with Béla Bartók’s Herzog Blaubarts Burg and Alexander Zemlinsky’s Eine florentinische Tragödie. Lindsey performs the Schumann cycle, accompanied by pianist Éric Le Sage.

Tenor Magnus Dietrich appears as Pang in Puccini’s Turandot at Oper Frankfurt in Andrea Breth’s new production, conducted by General Music Director Thomas Guggeis. The cast is led by Elza van den Heever in the title role, with Alfred Kim as Calaf and Guanqun Yu as Liù. Dietrich joins Liviu Holender (Ping) and Michael Porter (Pong) as the trio of imperial ministers. Performances take place on 12, 16, 19 and 25 April, as well as 1, 3, 9, 14, 17, 23 and 29 May and 4 June 2026.
