Rolando Villazón opens the 2026 Baroque Days at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. On 7 November, he appears as Orfeo and Testo in Combattimento – Love Leading to Death, alongside Céline Scheen, Luciana Mancini and Renato Dolcini. Led by Christina Pluhar, Ensemble L’Arpeggiata performs a vivid programme of Monteverdi and his contemporaries with music of passion, tragedy and transformation.
