Piotr Beczała is one of the world’s leading tenors and a regular guest at the foremost international opera houses. The Polish-born artist is acclaimed not only for the beauty and brilliance of his voice, but also for the dramatic conviction and musical intelligence he brings to every role. Alongside his operatic career, he is equally celebrated as a concert and recital artist, appearing with many of the world’s most distinguished orchestras and conductors.
The defining event of Piotr Beczała’s 2026/27 season is his eagerly anticipated role debut as Parsifal. He first appears in Kirill Serebrennikov’s new production at the Vienna State Opera, followed by François Girard’s production at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, before concluding the season in the title role at the Bayreuth Festival. At the Metropolitan Opera he also returns as Cavaradossi in Tosca and joins the company’s Diamond Jubilee Gala celebrating sixty years at Lincoln Center. At the Vienna State Opera he reprises the title role in Andrea Chénier, appears in the annual Opern Air and gives a gala concert with Luca Salsi. Other operatic engagements include Radamès in Aida at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Riccardo in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera at the Bavarian State Opera, Rodolfo in Luisa Miller at Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, and the title role in Werther at the Opera de Las Palmas.
