Gaëlle Arquez: Iphigénie en Tauride in the Elbphilharmonie

On May 3rd mezzo-soprano Gaëlle Arquez sings the title role in a concert version of Gluck’s opera Iphigénie en Tauride together with the Balthasar-Neumann Choir and Orchestra and conductor Thomas Hengelbrock. Alongside Arquez one can hear Alexandre Duhamel as Thoas, Domen Križaj in the role of Orest, Paolo Fanaleas Pylades and Marianne Croux as Diana. The concert takes please at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.

Gaëlle Arquez: House debut at Opéra de Monte-Carlo

Mezzo-soprano Gaëlle Arquez makes her house debut at Opéra de Monte-Carlo in Ravel’s L'Heure espagnole and L'Enfant et les Sortilèges where she sings the roles Concepción and L’Enfant respectively. The performances mark the 150th anniversary of Maurice Ravel's birth and the Centenary of the premiere of L'Enfant et les sortilèges. The production by Jean-Louis Grinda is lead under the musical direction of Kazuki Yamada and can be experienced on March 21, 23, 25 and 27.
