Soprano Emily Pogorelc returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper to make her role debut as Marie in Bedřich Smetana’s comic opera Die verkaufte Braut. This engagement marks her first appearance with the house since completing her tenure as a member of the ensemble from 2020 to 2023.
The production is directed by David Bösch and conducted by Tomáš Hanus, with the Bayerisches Staatsorchester and Bayerischer Staatsopernchor.
Performances are scheduled for February 7, 12, 14, and 17, 2026 at the Nationaltheater Munich.
