Yeongtaek Yang: Welcome to CSAM!

25 Mar 2026

Centre Stage Artist Management is delighted to announce that baritone Yeongtaek Yang has joined our roster for general management.

Yeongtaek Yang has rapidly emerged as one of the most promising young baritones of his generation. Acclaimed for “hearty” “stirring” and “stentorian” performances (Classical voice North America), he is distinguished by his refined musicianship, commanding stage presence, and exceptional artistic versatility.

In the 2025-26 season, Yeongtaek Yang returns to the Metropolitan Opera for his second year in the prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, where he performs as Moralès in Carmen and Prince Yamadori in Madama Butterfly as well as covers Ping in Turandot and Roucher in Andrea Chénier. The baritone made a “confident and stylish” (New York Classical Review) Metropolitan Opera debut as Marullo in Rigoletto, led by Daniele Callegari, followed by a notable appearance as the Second Nazarene in the company’s critically acclaimed new production of Salome, under the baton of Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin. In spring 2026, Yang makes his Teatro Municipal de Santiago debut, singing Marcello in La bohème, and returns to the Santa Fe Opera as an Apprentice Artist in the summer. Further engagements include his company debut with the Dallas Opera as Chancellor (Ping) in Turandot, as well as a concert with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society.
