Tenor Stanislas de Barbeyrac appears as Siegmund in Wagner’s Die Walküre at the Baltic Opera Festival in Sopot on July 2 and 5, 2026. He is joined by Izabela Matuła as Sieglinde, Stéphanie Müther as Brünnhilde, René Pape as Hunding, Małgorzata Walewska as Fricka, and Tomasz Konieczny as Wotan. The production is directed by John Fulljames and conducted by Axel Kober. Presented at the historic Forest Opera in Sopot, this staging of Wagner’s epic music drama is a co-production of the Royal Danish Theatre and the Greek National Opera.
