Bass Günther Groissböck appears as Baron Ochs auf Lerchenau in Richard Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier at the Latvian National Opera in Riga. The new production is directed by Viesturs Kairišs and conducted by Zbigniew Graca. Groissböck is joined by Štěpánka Pučálková as Octavian, alongside soloists of the Latvian National Opera. The premiere takes place on October 8, 2026, followed by performances on October 8, 9 and 10 at the Latvian National Opera.
