Centre Stage Artist Management is thrilled to announce that Italian tenor Omar Mancini has joined the roster for general management.

Formidable tenor Omar Mancini is one of the promising young voices of his generation. The tenor made his opera debut as the solo tenor in the Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini as part of the 150th anniversary of the composer’s death in 2018. He was awarded in numerous competitions (including winning first prize in the Antonio Falconio Summer Edition & Salvatore Licitra opera singing competition) and is a current ensemble member at Grand Théâtre de Genève.

Omar Mancini kicked of the 2023-24 season in the role of Il Conte di Libenskof in Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. He stars at Grand Théâtre de Genève’s as Italian Tenor in Strauss’s Rosenkavalier directed by Christoph Walz, Arbace in Mozart’s Idomeneo and Frère Helie in Massiaen’s Saint François d’Assise.

At the Grand Théâtre de Genève Mancini sang the role of Roberto/Earl of Leicester (cover) in Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda, as Dritter Knappe in Wagner’s Parsifal and as Eurimaco in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria. In June 2023, he performed the role of Abdallo in Verdi’s Nabucco, alongside Saioa Hernandez as Abigaille and Nicola Alaimo as Nabucco. Further highlights of past seasons include his debut at the Teatro Sociale di Como with the role of the Guardian in Giovanni Sollima’s Acquaprofonda, followed by Horatio/La Voix Imaginarie de Lèlio in Berlioz’s Lelio ou le retour à la vie (January 2022) and the role of Conte di Bandiera in Salieri’s La scuola de’ gelosi (May 2022), both at the Teatro Regio di Torino.

He gave his debut at the Capri Opera Festival in the role of Rinuccio from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. In 2021 he was selected for the Bottega Donizetti at the international festival Donizetti Opera where took on the tenor part in C’erano una volta due Bergamaschi presenting music from Gaetano Donizetti, Gioachino Rossini and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart amongst others. During the Donizetti Festival 2022, he was the cover for tenor Javier Camarena in La Favorite (Fernand) and in L’ajo nell’imbarazzo (Il marchese Enrico).
