Baritone Michael Volle plays the role of Jack Rance in “La fanciulla del West” by Giacomo Puccini. The premiere takes place on June 13, 2021. Lydia Steier is directing and making her house debut at the Berlin State Opera with this production. The musical direction is in the hands of Sir Antonio Pappano, Music Director of the Royal Opera House and Chief Conductor-designate of the London Symphony Orchestra.
