The Mongolian baritone kicks off the 2023/24 season performing the roles of Rigoletto (Rigoletto) and Rodrigo (Don Carlos) at the Mariinsky Theatre. He then appears as Count di Luna (Il trovatore) at the Mongolian National Opera. The title role in Nabucco is the vehicle for Ganbaatar’s return to the Ópera de Las Palmas later in the season. 2022/2023 marked his house debut in Las Palmas where he had a series of critically acclaimed performances as Rigoletto and Amonasro (Aida) under the batons of Daniel Oren and José Miguel Pérez-Sierra respectively. On stage of the Mariinsky Theatre, the baritone performed the roles of Scarpia (Tosca), Tonio (Pagliacci), Nabucco (Nabucco), Giorgio Germont (La traviata), Prince Yeletsky (The Queen of Spades) and Escamillo (Carmen). Ganbaatar finished the season by performing his signature role of Conte di Luna (Il trovatore) at the Musikfest Bremen in concert performances conducted ny Jérémie Rhorer.

As the winner of International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015, Ganbaatar performed on the stages of Carnegie Hall in New York as well as Cadogan Hall and Buckingham Palace and London.
