Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, possessing “a voice as if cut from crystal” (Salzburger Nachrichten) is considered in equal measure to be one of today’s foremost interpreters of lied and concert repertoire, and as one of the most sought-after operatic artists. The soprano had her international breakthrough at the 2014 Salzburg Easter Festival as Zdenka in Strauss’ Arabella, co-starring with Renèe Fleming and Thomas Hampson under the baton of Christian Thielemann. For this role, she was voted “Young Artist of the Year” by Opernwelt magazine. The production was subsequently released on DVD under United Classica in partnership with C Major. Müller is a frequent guest of the world’s leading opera houses and festivals: Bayerische Staatsoper, the Vienna Staatsoper, the Metropolitan Opera, Dresden’s Semperoper, Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Opernhaus Zurich, and the Salzburg Festival, among others.

Hanna-Elisabeth Müller: Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg in the Vienna State Opera

The soprano Hanna-Elisabeth Müller returns to the Vienna State Opera as Eva Pogner in the Meistersinger von Nürnberg. Hanna-Elisabeth Müller is joined on stage by tenor David Butt in the role of the young knight Walther von Stolzing. The production by Keith Warner is performed under the baton of Philippe Jordan. The performances take place on May 19, 23, 26 and 30.

Hanna-Elisabeth Müller sings Anton Bruckner’s Mass no. 3 with the the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin under the baton of conductor Philippe Herreweghe. On stage Hanna-Elisabeth Müller will be joined by Mezzo-Soprano Anna Lucia Richter, Tenor Mauro Peter and Bass Johannes Kammler. The concert takes place in the Philharmonie Berlin on April 21.

Hanna-Elisabeth Müller sings her acclaimed interpretation of Richard Strauss’ 4 Letzte Lieder with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra under the baton of their honorary conductor Christoph Eschenbach. The two concerts take place in Bamberg on March 13 and in Aix on March 23.
