Georgijs Osokins returns to the Brugg Festival in Switzerland for three performances showcasing his versatility as both a chamber musician and soloist. On 7 September, he joins Kremerata Baltica, soprano Magdalena Ceple, and clarinettist Reto Bieri for Grenzgänge – typisch Kremerata, featuring music by Weinberg, Beethoven, Copland, and Mustonen. On 8 September, he performs in Mozart’s piano concert 25. He concludes his residency on 9 September with the solo recital Piano – Begegnung von Natur und Stille, presenting works by Pärt, Schumann, Vasks, and Liszt.

Rolando Villazón joins the lautten compagney BERLIN and its artistic director Wolfgang Katschner for "Seelenreise" at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. The programme explores the origins of accompanied solo singing through works by Claudio Monteverdi, Giulio Caccini, Heinrich Schütz, Giovanni Gabrieli, Luigi Rossi, and other early Baroque composers.
