“Destination Mozart” - this is the motto that Artistic Director Rolando Villazón has chosen for Mozart Week 2025. In this sense, all roads lead to Mozart, especially via Monteverdi and Handel, whose works are congenial to Mozart's oeuvre and who were pioneers, inspiration or role models for him. Rolando can be heard in the title role of Monteverdi's “L'Orfeo” (January 24, 26, 31, 2025). The Mozart Week begins on January 23 and ends on February 2.
