Once again Serena Sáenz takes the role of Queen of the Night and is joined on stage by Maria Nazarova as Pamina, Cyrille Dubois as Tamino and Franz-Josef Selig as Sarastro. At the same time in the same place: Exactly 250 years ago to the day, on 23 April 1775, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart conducted the concert premiere of Il re pastore at the Prince Archbishop's Residenztheater in Salzburg. On April 23, 2025 Rolando Villazón as Alessandro, Emily Pogorelc as Aminta and Serena Sáenz as Elisa sing a concert performance of the opera to celebrate this important anniversary at the original venue.
