Biography

Amin Ahangaran, praised as a “full-bodied and firm bass” with a “beautiful nocturnal colour” (Opera Libera) is “indeed one of the most charming voices of his generation” (OPERA Charm Magazine). An alumnus of the Accademia del Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florence, he is currently a member of the International Opera Studio (IOS) in Zurich.

Amin Ahangaran: Macbeth at the Opernhaus Zurich

Bass Amin Ahangaran continues his tenure as a member of the Opera Studio of the Opernhaus Zurich, where he sees performances in Macbeth as Medico. He can be seen on stage alongside George Petean as Macbeth, Vitalij Kowaljow as Banco, and Ewa Plonka with Veronika Dzhioeva as Lady Macbeth on November 17, 21, 25, and 28 as well as December 1, 2023, under the baton of Daniele Squeo.
