The Bolshoi Theatre has announced that the 245th season will open with Verdi’s “Don Carlo” starring Anna Netrebko in her role debut as Elisabetta. Soprano Anna Netrebko will open the season alongside Ildar Abdrazakov, Yusif Eyvazov and Elchin Azizov on the Historic stage. Performances are set to take place on September 6 & 8.
