Canadian-Iranian countertenor Cameron Shahbazi in collaboration with Oper Frankfurt & Opera for Peace presents on December 12 a benefit concert called Woman.Life.Freedom to show solidarity with protesters in Iran. Along with Cameron Shahbazi, participating artists include harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani, sopranos Kristine Opolais, Lilian Farahani, Ambur Braid and Giulia Semenzato, cellist Kian Soltani, percussionist Naghib Shanbehzadeh, pianists Jeff Cohen and Sophia Muñoz, stage director Pierre-Emmanuel Rousseau and more. The event will be attended by Bürgermeisterin (deputy mayor) of Frankfurt am Main Nargess Eskandari-Grünberg. This special one-night only concert will raise funds and awareness in support of the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center for Human Rights in Iran (ABC).
