
Filipe Manu: Welcome to CSAM!
Centre Stage Artist Management is delighted to announce that acclaimed tenor Filipe Manu has joined our roster for general management.
Raised in New Zealand and of Tongan heritage, Filipe Manu is one of the most exciting tenors of his generation, recently becoming the first singer from the Pacific and Australasia to win the prestigious Tenor Viñas International Singing Competition (2024). A graduate of the world-renowned Jette Parker Young Artist Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Manu has already made significant debuts at Covent Garden, Wiener Staatsoper, Opéra National de Paris, and the Staatsoper Hamburg.
Recent highlights of his career include acclaimed debuts as Fenton (Falstaff) at the Glyndebourne Summer Festival, Paris (La Belle Hélène) in Toulon, and Ernesto (Don Pasquale) with Scottish Opera. He also sang Ferrando in Così fan tutte at Wiener Staatsoper, Eduardo in Thomas Adès’ The Exterminating Angel at Opéra National de Paris, Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) at the Royal Opera House, and Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore at the Glyndebourne Autumn Festival.
Upcoming engagements take him to the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Opera Australia, Wiener Staatsoper, and Covent Garden, further establishing his international career.
