Javier Camarena appears as Alfredo Germont in Verdi’s La Traviata at the 2026 edition of Les Chorégies d’Orange on 4 July 2026. The Mexican tenor joins an outstanding cast featuring Jessica Pratt in the title role and Ludovic Tézier as Giorgio Germont. Conducted by Paolo Arrivabeni, this semi-staged performance of Verdi’s beloved masterpiece is presented at the Théâtre Antique d’Orange, one of Europe’s most iconic open-air opera venues.

Javier Camarena appears as Roméo in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette at Teatro Real, Madrid, in May and June 2026. He performs alongside Nadine Sierra, under the musical direction of Carlo Rizzi, in a new production by Thomas Jolly. Performances take place on 27 and 30 May, as well as 1, 4, 7, 10 and 13 June 2026.
