More
Since receiving First Prize at the Francisco Viñas Vocal Competition in Barcelona in 2015, Olga Kulchynska has quickly established herself as one of the leading lyrical sopranos of her generation. She frequently appears with the world’s leading opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, the Bayerische Staatsoper, Opéra National de Paris, and the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
The highlight of Olga’s 2024/25 season is her highly awaited debut at the Salzburg Festival where she takes on the role of Cleopatra in Dmitry Tcherniakov and Emmanuelle Haim’s new production of Giulio Cesare. The soprano makes another exciting house and role debut at the Opéra de Lausanne as Mathilde in Wilhelm Tell directed by Bruno Ravella and conducted by Francesco Lanzillotta. This season Kulchynska returns to the Royal Opera House as Mimi in La Bohème revival of Richard Jones’ production, to the Metropolitan Opera as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro by Richard Eyre and to the Bayerische Staatsoper for her debut as Fiordiligi in Benedict Andrews’ production of Così Fan Tutte conducted by Christopher Moulds. Kulchynska can also be heard in Munich in her solo recital at the Münchner Künstlerhaus.
