Serena Sáenz joins the Latvian mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča for a series of gala concerts in Austria and Latvia. The Spanish soprano will perform, among other pieces, “Je veux vivre” from Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette and a duet from Bellini’s I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the highly acclaimed yearly events, Klassik unter Sternen (‘Classics under the Stars’) at Göttweig Abbey on July 3, 2024 and Klassik in den Alpen (‘Classics in the Alps’) in Kitzbuhel on July 6, 2024. After the concerts in Austria, the program will be repeated at a concert in Jurmala, Latvia, on July 8, 2024.
