Siphokazi Molteno: The Bear at Teatro Regio Turin

Mezzo-soprano Siphokazi Molteno sings Jelena Ivanovna Popova in Sir William Walton’s The Bear, a chamber opera in one act. Molteno is joined on stage by Yiorgo Ioannou as Grigorij Stepanovič Smirnov and Tyler Zimmerman as Luka. The production by Paolo Vettori is lead under the musical direction Marco Alibrando. The performances take place on May 24, 29 and June 4, 5.
