Tenor Stanislas de Barbeyrac will perform the role of Siegmund in Act I of Wagner’s Die Walküre at the Salzburger Festspiele on August 24 and 25, 2025. He will be joined by soprano Elza van den Heever as Sieglinde and bass-baritone John Relyea as Hunding. The Vienna Philharmonic, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, will also present Wagner’s Lohengrin Prelude to Act I and Siegfried Idyll.
