Biography

A graduate of the Yale School of Music and the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, Sylvia D’Eramo has already made mainstage debuts at the Metropolitan Opera, The Santa Fe Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, and The Philadelphia Orchestra, among others. Her voice is praised for its “purity of timbre, the brilliance of its highs and the powerful lyricism of its line…sonorous nuances that give way to sumptuously ethereal pianissimi” (Olyrix).

Eliška Weissová and Sylvia D’Eramo: Elektra in St. Gallen

Sylvia D’Eramo: La Bohème in Santa Fe

Soprano Sylvia D’Eramo returns to The Santa Fe Opera to perform the role of Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème. She will share the stage with Long Long as Rodolfo, Emma Marhefka as Musetta, Szymon Mechliński as Marcello, and Soloman Howard as Colline. Eliška Weissová and Sylvia D’Eramo: Elektra in St. Gallen

Sopranos Eliška Weissová and Sylvia D'Eramo star in Theater St. Gallen's production of Strauss' Elektra, portraying the roles of Elektra and Chrysothemis, respectively.
