Thomas Hampson returns to the stage on July 7th, for a recital at Opera Zurich with Wolfram Rieger! In addition to this being his first LIVE performance for an audience in months, this concert is special for him since it happens to also be Gustav Mahler’s birthday. In celebration of the 160th anniversary of his birth, Thomas Hampson has programmed some personal favorites from Mahler’s catalog of works along with songs by Aaron Copland, John Corigliano, Stephen Foster, Henry Burleigh, Michael Daugherty, Jennifer Higdon and others.
