September 2025 sees the release of his debut album with Deutsche Grammophon – For Arvo, featuring the complete piano works of Arvo Pärt, marking the legendary composer’s 90th anniversary. In the 25/26 season, Osokins performs solo recitals in Berlin, Munich, Helsinki, Riga, at the Arvo Pärt Center in Estonia, for the Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Klavier Festival Ruhr, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Weidener Meisterkonzerte, and in Polling.
In the 2025/26 season, Osokins makes his debut with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande performing Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 at Geneva’s Victoria Hall, Lucerne’s KKL and in Lausanne under the baton of Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla. This follows their acclaimed January 2025 concerts with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, which promptly re-invited Osokins to appear later that year in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 under the baton of Tianyi Lu. Further appearances include performances of Arvo Pärt’s Lamentate with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra under Kristiina Poska, as well as concerts with the Kassel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Georgijs Osokins gained international recognition at the age of 19 after competing in the 17th International Chopin Piano Competition, where he became an audience favourite. In recent seasons, Georgijs Osokins has collaborated with orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with Christoph Eschenbach and Rotem Nir, as well as the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo with Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla. Osokins frequently collaborates with Gidon Kremer, touring across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Asia, and the USA. Alongside Lucas Debargue, he became the first resident guest artist in Kremerata Baltica’s 25-year history.
Georgijs Osokins’ debut album, released in 2016, featured works by Chopin. The UK-based label Piano Classics subsequently issued two of his recordings dedicated to Chopin’s late works and to Rachmaninoff, both receiving critical acclaim in leading music magazines across the UK, Canada, Germany, Denmark, and France. In 2022, the German label Accentus released Osokins’ first chamber music album, recorded alongside Gidon Kremer and Giedrė Dirvanauskaitė, featuring trios by Chopin and Beethoven. The recording was nominated for both the International Classical Music Awards and the Opus Klassik. In May 2025, Osokins signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon, becoming the first Baltic pianist to join the iconic label’s roster.
