Jonah Hoskins



Rising lyric tenor Jonah Hoskins, a graduate of the Metropolitan Opera’s prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, is one of the most promising young voices of the opera world. A Grand Finals winner of the 2020 Met Competition, Hoskins has continued to triumph on the competition scene: he was awarded with the second prize at Placido Domingo’s Operalia Competition at the Bolshoi Theatre, was the recipient of the Extraordinary Artistic Promise Award at the Lotte Lenya Competition, and placed first in the National Opera Association Competition.

Jonah Hoskins: Debut with Pêcheurs de perles at Opéra National de Bordeaux

Jonah Hoskins makes his house debut at Opera National de Bordeaux with his role debut as Nadir in Pêcheurs de perles. Louise Foor takes on the role as Leilaand Florian Sempey the one of Zurga. Performances take place on 20, 22, 24 and 26 January 2024.

Jonah Hoskins: Recital at Vocal Arts DC, Washington

On 13 December 2023 Jonah Hoskins gives his area recital debut in Washington D.C. at Kennedy Center together with pianist William Woodard. Both artist present a program featuring songs by Jake Heggie, Lee Hoiby, and Erik Satie.

Jonah Hoskins: L’elisir d’amore at the San Francisco Opera

Jonah Hoskins makes his house debut at San Francisco Opera in the role of Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore. He makes an appearance on stage on November 29, 2023, next to Slávka Zámečníková as Adina under the musical direction of Ramón Tebar.
