Kate Lindsey sings Miranda at the Vienna State Opera’s revival of The Tempest on May 9, 2024. The opera by Thomas Adès, who also conducts the 2015 production, is based on Shakespeare’s play. Kate Lindsey joins the cast of Adrian Eröd as Prospero, Caroline Wettergreen as Ariel and Frédéric Antoun as Caliban. The opera can also be experienced on May 12, 14 and 17, 2024.

On May 5 a new production of Rossini’s opera Guillaume Tell premieres in St. Gallen starring baritone Theodore Platt who makes his house and role debut as the titular character and tenor Jonah Hoskins who is debuting the role as Arnold Melchtal. Both are joined on stage by Athanasia Zöhrer in the role of Mathilde. The new production by Julien Chavaz is performed under the baton of Michael Balke.
