Soprano Athanasia Zöhrer takes on the role of Sifare in Mozart’s early masterpiece Mitridate at Opéra de Lausanne. She will be joined by tenor Paolo Fanale in the title role and Lauranne Oliva as Aspasia. This new production, directed by Emmanuelle Bastet, promises a fresh take on Mozart’s rarely performed opera, with conductor Andreas Spering leading the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne.
