Soprano Olga Kulchynska and Mezzo-soprano Gaëlle Arquez sing Gioachino Rossini’s cantata Stabat Mater on February 19, 2024 as a part of Ljubljana Winter Festival. The ensemble also including the tenor Francesco Demuro and the bass Riccardo Zanellato is accompanied by the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Megaron Chamber Choir and by the Italian conductor Roberto Abbado.

Rolando Villazón: Solo concerts in Switzerland, Monte Carlo & Germany & Star-guest at Dresden Opera Ball

The tenor presents a program featuring music by Mozart, Verdi, Massenet, Offenbach, and others, on February 17 in Andermatt and on February 24 at the Opéra de Monte Carlo, accompanied by the Swiss Orchestra under the baton of Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer. He brings the programme to Munich’s Prinzregententheater on March 11, accompanied by  the Munich Symphony Orchestra conducted by Guerassim Voronkov. Rolando Villazón is also the star guest at the 2024 Dresden Semperoper’s festive Opera Ball.
