Javier Camarena returns to ABAO Bilbao Opera this October as Alfredo Germont in Verdi’s La traviata, opening the company’s 75th season. He stars alongside Jessica Pratt as Violetta Valéry and Gabriele Viviani as Giorgio Germont. Francesco Ivan Ciampa conducts the Euskadiko Orkestra in Mario Pontiggia’s production. Performances take place at Euskalduna Bilbao on 17, 20, 23 and 26 October 2026.

Centre Stage Artist Management is delighted to welcome young German soprano Charlotte Langner to our roster as a CSAM Emerging Artist. She is the first artist to join the roster as part of a new initiative dedicated to supporting exceptional young talents at the very start of their careers. Charlotte graduated from the opera studio of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in the summer of 2026 and is currently completing a post-graduate Excellence Program at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf.

The young German soprano Charlotte Langner is one of today’s most promising emerging artists. Audiences and critics alike have praised her “soprano that shines in the upper register” (Westdeutsche Zeitung), her “flawlessly beautiful voice” (NRZ) and her “crystal-clear coloratura” (O-Ton). In the 2026/27 season, she debuts the roles of Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Adele in Die Fledermaus at Theater Lüneburg, and a Flower Maiden in Parsifal at the Nationaltheater Weimar. Her concert engagements include an aria recital at Teatro San Domenico in Crema and a performance of Hans Werner Henze’s Being Beauteous at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf.

Maayan Licht makes his US debut as soloist with the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra in Sopranista Fireworks, opening the orchestra’s 2026–27 season. Under the baton of Linus Lerner, Licht performs a selection of virtuosic arias in a programme that also features orchestral works by Morton Gould. The concerts take place on October 10 at the DesertView Performing Arts Center and on October 11 at the & St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
