Judit Kutasi: Adriana Lecouvreur in Toulouse

Mezzo-soprano Judit Kutasi will perform the role of the Princesse de Bouillon in Cilea’s Adriana Lecouvreur at the Opéra national du Capitole in Toulouse. She will appear alongside soprano Ermonela Jaho in the title role and tenor Saimir Pirgu as Maurizio. The production is directed by Pierre Rambert, with Stefano Montanari conducting. Performances are scheduled for June 20, 22, 24, 26, and 29, 2025.

Keri-Lynn Wilson: Bachfest in Leipzig

On June 15 Keri-Lynn Wilson conducts the MDR choir and symphony orchestra in Gewandhaus Leipzig as a part of this year’s Bachfest. The program presents orchestral versions of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565 and Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 645 followed by Tanejew’s Ioann Damaskin and Shostakovich’s Kazn’ Stepana Razina op. 119 sung by baritone Brian Mulligan.
