On May 3, Rolando Villazón continues his concert series "Rolando raconte..." with "Shakespeare en musique" and dedicates the evening to William Shakespeare, who is not only one of the greats of literary history, but has also proven to be an inexhaustible source of inspiration for composers of all eras. Together with mezzo-soprano Margarita Gritskova and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the audience can expect examples from orchestral music and opera, for example by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Giuseppe Verdi, but also the setting of a Shakespeare sonnet by contemporary composer Iain Bell.
