Soprano Athanasia Zöhrer takes on the role of Sifare in Mozart’s early masterpiece Mitridate at Opéra de Lausanne. She will be joined by tenor Paolo Fanale in the title role and Lauranne Oliva as Aspasia. This new production, directed by Emmanuelle Bastet, promises a fresh take on Mozart’s rarely performed opera, with conductor Andreas Spering leading the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne. Performances are scheduled for February 23, 25, 28, and March 2, 2025.

Soprano Athansia Zöhrer jumps in with short notice for three concerts with Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire in France. The program consists of Mozart’s greatest arias for soprano and is conducted by Mihhail Gerts. The concerts take place on June 8 in Abbaye de Fontevraud, June 11 in Nantes Théâtre Graslin and on June 13 in Centre de Congrès Angers.
