Soprano Serena Sáenz makes her debut in Pablo Sorozabal’s, Sailor romance in three acts, La tabernera del puerto at Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid. The production by Mario Gas is lead under the baton of Jose Miguel Perez-Sierra and Julio Cesar Picos. Sáenz takes the role as Marola and is joined on stage by César San Martín as Juan de Eguía and Celso Albelo as Leandro. Serena Sáenz can be heard in the performances on June 5, 7, 11, 13, 18, 19 and 21.
