Emily D’Angelo presents her role and house debut in the lead character Jess in the world premiere of Jeanine Tesori’s Grounded at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Based on the award-winning play by George Brant and co-produced with the Metropolitan Opera , the opera Grounded is musically led by Daniela Candillari and staged by Michael Mayer. As the Fighter-pilot Jess Emily D’Angelo performs on October 28 as well as November 1, 3, 5, 11 and 13, 2023.
