
Emily D’Angelo: World Premiere of Pleasantly Haunted in Riga

Mezzo-soprano Emily D’Angelo presents the world premiere of her new concert project Pleasantly Haunted at Hanzas Perons in Riga. The programme brings together music by Henry Purcell and John Dowland, medieval and Sephardic songs, English and American folk music, as well as new arrangements by Finnish composer Jarkko Riihimäki. Emily D’Angelo is joined by an international chamber ensemble featuring pianist Kai Schumacher, theorbist Bruno Hellstroffer, cellist Ēriks Kiršfelds, and percussionist Kaspars Kurdeko. The stage design is created by MAREUNROL’S.The performance takes place on July 18, 2026.
