American soprano Emily Pogorelc is praised by critics and audiences alike for her soaring, unique voice and captivating stage presence. Not yet thirty years old, Pogorelc has firmly established herself in a thriving career, consistently dazzling on many of the world’s top stages. Rolando Villazón, Emily Pogorelc, Serena Sáenz: Il re Pastore in Salzburg

At the same time in the same place: Exactly 250 years ago to the day, on 23 April 1775, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart conducted the concert premiere of Il re pastore at the Prince Archbishop's Residenztheater in Salzburg. On April 23, 2025 Rolando Villazón as Alessandro, Emily Pogorelc as Aminta and Serena Sáenz as Elisa sing a concert performance of the opera to celebrate this important anniversary at the original venue.

Emily Pogorelc: Elias at the Salzburg Easter Festival

Soprano Emily Pogorelc will join conductor Maxim Emelyanychev and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra to perform Mendelssohn's Elias at the Salzburg Easter Festival. The concert is scheduled for April 18, 2025 in the Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg. She will be joined by alto Wiebke Lehmkuhl, tenor Pene Pati, and baritone Christian Gerhaher.
