Biography

Through his uniquely compelling performances, Rolando Villazón has firmly established himself as one of the music world’s most critically acclaimed and beloved stars and as one of the leading artistic voices of our day. Rolando Villazón: Solo concerts in Switzerland, Monte Carlo & Germany & Star-guest at Dresden Opera Ball

The tenor presents a program featuring music by Mozart, Verdi, Massenet, Offenbach, and others, on February 17 in Andermatt and on February 24 at the Opéra de Monte Carlo, accompanied by the Swiss Orchestra under the baton of Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer. He brings the programme to Munich’s Prinzregententheater on March 11, accompanied by  the Munich Symphony Orchestra conducted by Guerassim Voronkov. Rolando Villazón is also the star guest at the 2024 Dresden Semperoper’s festive Opera Ball.
