One of the most compelling artists of her generation, mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey possesses a rare combination of world class vocal artistry coupled with equally expansive acting gifts. This “force of nature” (SFCV) is a regular guest on the world’s most celebrated stages, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Vienna State Opera, the Salzburg Festival, Glyndebourne Opera Festival, Festival Aix-en-Provence, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and the Bavarian State Opera.

Rolando Villazón and Kate Lindsey Receive Austrian Music Theatre Award 2024

As artistic director of the International Mozarteum Foundation, Rolando Villazón received the special prize "Festival" for the internationally acclaimed Mozart Week. Kate Lindsey was celebrated for her portrayals of Penelope in "Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria" and Composer in "Ariadne auf Naxos" at the Vienna State Opera and was awarded the prize for Best Supporting Role. The ceremony took place in Vienna on September 1, 2024.

Kate Lindsey: Canto Lirico with Arcangelo in Salzburg

Kate Lindsey reunites with the English ensemble Arcangelo directed by Jonathan Cohen presenting her newest album TIRANNO as a Canta Lirico program at the Salzburg Festival on August 18. Taking the historical figure Nero as its central character the program features works by Alessandro Scarlatti, Georg Friedrich Händel, Claudio Monteverdi. The Album was released in May 2021 with Outthere Music.

Kate Lindsey, Kathryn Lewek: Les Contes d’Hoffmann at the Salzburg Festival

Kathryn Lewek and Kate Lindsey co-cast in Mariame Clément’ production of Les Contes d’Hoffmann at the Salzburg Festival. Kathryn Lewek embodies all four heroines of the opera - Stella, Olympia, Antonia and Giulietta. Kate Lindsey takes on the role of The Muse and Nicklausse across tenor Benjamin Bernheim in the title role under the baton of Marc Minkowski. Offenbach’s Opéra fantastique can be experienced on August 13, 16, 21,24, 27 and 30.
