Kate Lindsey: Der Rosenkavalier at La Scala

The mezzo-soprano returns to Teatro alla Scala for her signature role of Octavian in Richard Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier. The Harry Kupfer’s production is conducted by Kirill Petrenko and features Krassimira Stoyanova as The Marschallin and Günther Groissböck as Baron Ochs auf Lerchenau. Performances can be heard on October 12, 15, 19, 22, 25 and 29.

Rolando Villazón and Kate Lindsey Receive Austrian Music Theatre Award 2024

As artistic director of the International Mozarteum Foundation, Rolando Villazón received the special prize "Festival" for the internationally acclaimed Mozart Week. Kate Lindsey was celebrated for her portrayals of Penelope in "Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria" and Composer in "Ariadne auf Naxos" at the Vienna State Opera and was awarded the prize for Best Supporting Role. The ceremony took place in Vienna on September 1, 2024.
