On 16 August 2026, mezzo-soprano Kate Lindsey returns to the Salzburg Festival with her acclaimed recital Thousands of Miles, together with pianist Baptiste Trotignon. The programme explores the rich musical worlds of Kurt Weill, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Alexander Zemlinsky and Alma Mahler, tracing themes of exile, identity and belonging.
Following acclaimed performances on international stages, Thousands of Miles brings together art song, cabaret and theatre music in a deeply personal programme that reflects Kate Lindsey’s exceptional storytelling and expressive artistry.
