Biography

Keri-Lynn Wilson is the founder and Music Director of the highly regarded Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra, formed in response to the Russian invasion and which has toured major cities and festivals in Europe and the United States over the past three summers. As a staunch supporter of Ukrainian liberty, Ms. Wilson performed the Verdi Requiem at the Lviv Opera House in February 2023 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the invasion and she has returned to Ukraine on numerous occasions since then to lead performances in solidarity.

Keri-Lynn Wilson: Bachfest in Leipzig

On June 15 Keri-Lynn Wilson conducts the MDR choir and symphony orchestra in Gewandhaus Leipzig as a part of this year’s Bachfest. The program presents orchestral versions of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565 and Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 645 followed by Tanejew’s Ioann Damaskin and Shostakovich’s Kazn’ Stepana Razina op. 119 sung by baritone Brian Mulligan.

Keri-Lynn Wilson: The Queen of Spades at the Metropolitan Opera

Conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson returns to the Metropolitan Opera to conduct Elijah Moshinsky’s production of Tchaikovsky’s thriller The Queen of Spades. Soprano Sonya Yoncheva makes her highly anticipated role debut as Lisa and tenor Brian Jagde debuts the role of Hermann. The opera can be experienced on May 23, 28, 31 and June 4 and 7.

Emily D’Angelo, Keri-Lynn Wilson: Benefit concert for Ukraine in Berlin

Mezzo-soprano Emily D’Angelo and conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson come together in a benefit concert for Ukraine with Kyiv Camerata on April 21st in Berlin Philharmonie. The concert presents a variety of works by Ukranian composers such as Zubytskyi, Kozarenko, Stankowytsch, Ljatoschynskyj, Karabits, Rodin and Almashi. Emily D’Angelo can be heard performing a new work by Victoria Vita Polevá “No Man is an Island”.
