Biography

Keri-Lynn Wilson is the founder and Music Director of the highly regarded Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra, formed in response to the Russian invasion and which has toured major cities and festivals in Europe and the United States over the past three summers. As a staunch supporter of Ukrainian liberty, Ms. Wilson performed the Verdi Requiem at the Lviv Opera House in February 2023 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the invasion and she has returned to Ukraine on numerous occasions since then to lead performances in solidarity.

Keri-Lynn Wilson: Madama Butterfly at the Canadian Opera Company

Keri-Lynn Wilson conducts Michael Grandage’s production of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Canadian Opera Company. Soprano Eri Nakamura stars as Butterfly, while tenor Kang Wang portrays the feckless U.S. officer Pinkerton. The performances take place at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto on January 24, 26 and February 1, 6, 8, 12, 14, 16.

Keri-Lynn Wilson: Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in Buenos Aires

On December 21st, Keri-Lynn Wilson conducts the season’s 5th symphony concert at Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. For the first half of the concert, Mozart’s Concerto for flute and harp, K 299/297 is performed by flutist Jorge de la Vega and harpist Ramiro Enriquez. The second half offers Beethoven’s 9th symphony with soprano Montserrat Maldonado, mezzo-soprano Alejandra Malvino, tenor Santiago Ballerini and bass Fernando Radó.

Keri-Lynn Wilson: Debut with the New York Philharmonic

Conductor Keri-Lynn makes her debut with the New York Philharmonic in a spectacular symphony concert at the David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. The program consists of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10 ​which is performed alongside​ William Kentridge’s Oh To Believe in Another World, a stop-motion film. Another side of Shostakovich is on display in his Festive Overture. Concertmaster Frank Huang is the soloist in Prokofiev’s 2nd Violin Concerto. The concerts take place on December 5, 6 and 7.
